Designed for iPhone and Android, this is the first Hispanic grocery store app in the U.S.
Americana Grocery has launched a mobile iPhone and Android application. This free interactive tool allows grocery shoppers to receive notifications and alerts via iPhone or Android device. The application is the first Latino Grocery Store app in the U.S.
Currently, the application features simple access to Americana’s weekly specials and alerts with attractive offers from strategic partners. Over the next three months, Americana expects more than 10,000 people to download its application. To reach that objective, Americana is staging a $5,000 drawing to encourage regular customers and attract new ones to download the application.
“We’re are very proud to be the first Latino grocery store to have an application and super excited to have our customers save time, money, and ultimately enhance their shopping experience,” said Pablo Perez, president of Americana Grocery. “The application will soon have an online shopping component as well as creative Latin food dishes for every day cooking.”
American Grocery operates three stores in Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C.
